To our Atlanta fans who were not admitted to the Tabernacle show,
We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconveniences and disappointment many of you experienced last Friday in Atlanta. The event was designed to be a free promotional concert for Samsung/AT&T. This free show was intended to be a fun and an intimate experience to give to our fans. Please know that as a band we would never knowingly turn anyone away who wanted to see us perform.. As an apology we have decided to grant to those of you who were turned away in Atlanta, free admission to our October 7 show in Sevierville, TN. Please continue reading for specific details.
Through the cooperation of Samsung/AT&T, as well as our friends at AC Entertainment (promoters of the Sevierville TN show), we are going to offer our Atlanta fans who received tickets but DID NOT gain admission, FREE TICKETS to see the Avett Brothers on Friday, October 7 in Sevierville, TN at Smokies Stadium. We understand that our fans will have to drive further for this show, but this is our best immediate solution to give you another opportunity to see a show. Tickets are already on sale to the public, be we will admit those with verifiable proof who were in line at the Tabernacle and did not get in.
Please pay strict attention to the stipulations for this offer, as you WILL be turned away if you do not have the appropriate ticket and I.D. ONLY the person who initially submitted their email and contact info, received the tickets and were NOT admitted to the Tabernacle are eligible to receive free admission to the Sevierville concert. (Those who WERE admitted to the Tabernacle had their tickets scanned upon entry and are NOT eligible. )
You will receive an email later this week with instructions on how to receive your new ticket.
You have always been loyal to us and we will do our best to show you our respect by making sure that this type of situation does not ever happen again. Please accept our humble and sincere apology.
Sincerely,
The Avett Brothers
